Paccheri Giganti is a large-sized, wide pasta tubes. The name derives from the Neapolitan word “pacchero”, which means slap. According to a funny story of when this pasta was first made, the large cut literally slaps the face when put in the mouth too quickly, hence the unusual yet hilarious name.
